Yes, there is usually a small fee for this.
Licensed driver at least 21 years old with at least 1-year experience from 6am to midnight, after midnight, must be parent or guardian.
15 for daytime restricted license, having held the Learner's Permit for at least 180 days and LADS Driver Education Certification w/40 hours parent supervised driving, 10 of which must be after dark.

Students attend a one day, 8 Hour classroom session usually held on a Saturday. After completing the classroom portion, they are given the login information for our online scheduling system to set up their in-car portion of the training. Their in-car portion will be broken down into the appropriate number of 2-hour segments based on the course chosen. Upon completion of both the classroom and in-car portions, the student will receive the necessary paperwork for the student to be allowed to take the State Road Test. Certificates for the insurance discount will be mailed within a couple of days to the address on record.
